The owners: Teresa Payne
The home: Teresa Payne purchased her Westfield area home in 2001. It was built in 1999. Although she enjoyed the home, the kitchen had a solid wall that separated it from the family room and an adjacent screened porch. When she had visitors, Teresa felt isolated by the kitchen’s features.
What she did: Working with Centennial Construction & Remodeling, Teresa chose to remove the solid wall and enclose the patio to create a dining room with lots of windows. Reconfiguration included moving the oven and refrigerator. The kitchen’s island was turned and elongated during renovations to provide more storage under the counter as well as improving the work flow. Read Complete News Story
